Smac cornici was formed in 1962 in the village of certaldo, a small industrial village between siena and florance. In 1972, due to the businesses demands, smac cornici moved to larger business premises in the nearby town of san gimano to which it continues to thrive.

The business is owned and run by the Borghini family and is one of the leading Italian producers of mouldings for picture frames. With clients throughout the world, smac cornici has gain an international reputation of innovative design and high quality Italian workmanship.
